Our Criteria for Selecting Worthy Organizations

What Criteria does Ahava Kids use in selecting these organizations?

• Experience – We want to know that the leadership and staff have been working to rescue victims and prevent the growth of commercial sexual exploitation for at least five years, preferably more.
• Results – We want to know that the organization frequently rescues victims who then remain on a path of recovery and restoration through the continued efforts of the organization.
• Survivor Leadership – We want to know that the organization is either led by Survivors of Human Trafficking or has Survivors in leadership and advisory positions.
• Victim Centric – We want to know that the organization’s focus is centered squarely on victims of human trafficking; their direct rescue and restoration, and the prevention of further abuse.
• Organizational Structure – We want to know that the organization is structured properly and efficiently according to the highest levels of best practices for Non-Governmental Organizations (NGO’s).
• Funding – We want to know that the organization spends very little time and money finding and raising more money.
